What is In Rural Europe ?
In Rural Europe is an organization born from a partnership created to defend the interests of rural territories by learning, sharing, experimenting, preserving, enhancing, innovating and cooperating together.
This network of partners wants to develop the local economy and succeed in stimulating their rural territories.
We develop our projects around 3 dynamics :

Who are we ?
Why did we create this association ?
Our main goal is to promote European rural territories by developing tangible actions for citizens to make Europe’s support visible.
To achieve this goal, we will :
- structure our network,
- obtain recognition of the work already accomplished, and the political targets set by our partnership,
- write a precise plan of action for the territories and their citizens, in order to be able to write new cooperation projects.
Who do we work with ?
In Rural Europe strives to have a solid network of partners
- on an international scale,
- but also on the scale of each member territory of the association.
What are we going to do ?
These projects will make rural areas :
- Stronger : by focusing on empowering rural communities, improving access to services and promoting social innovation,
- More connected : by improving connectivity, in terms of transport and digital access,
- More resilient : by preserving natural resources and greening agricultural activities to combat climate change,
- More prosperous : by diversifying economic activities and increasing the added value of agricultural and agri-food activities.

- Innovate, as we see cooperation as an opportunity for territorial innovation,
- Bring together, by structuring a network of stakeholderswho act for the development of their territories,
- Support, by contributing to the development and support of initiatives in rural areas,
- Enhance, by working on the definition, application and implementation of projects,
- Promote, by showing the rural wealth and local development of European policies,
- Inform, by giving each citizen a concrete vision of Europe's contribution to their territory,
- Preparing for the future, by anticipating the creation of an EGTC (European Grouping for Territorial Cooperation)
